Three New Motorcycles Worth Watching: Ducati, Zero and Kawasaki
A tourer from Ducati, a 40-unit electric roadster from Zero and a reworked Ninja 650: what is new, the price and who each bike is for.

Three bikes from three different worlds landed this week. One is a Ducati built for a long road, one is an electric roadster in a limited anniversary finish, and one is a middleweight Ninja with real chassis upgrades. We spotted them in Gear Patrol's weekly new-bike roundup and checked each maker's own page for the facts below. This is not a ride review.
Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour
Ducati's own page lists the Grand Tour at 170 hp, 91 lb-ft of torque and 529 lb without fuel, starting at $30,995. The photos show it with factory hard cases, so it is clearly aimed at riders who cover long distances. It sits in the Multistrada family next to the V2 and the V4 S.

It is a big bike and a big price. If your riding is mostly weekends, a lighter machine will be easier to live with.
Zero SR/F 20th Anniversary Limited Edition
Zero marks 20 years with an SR/F in Jet Black, with gold detailing, carbon-fiber front and rear fenders and commemorative graphics. The hardware is the standard SR/F: a Z-Force 75-10 motor with 111 hp and 140 lb-ft, a 124 mph top speed and a 17.3 kWh battery that Zero rates at 176 miles of city range. Zero lists the limited edition at $20,995, against $19,995 for the standard bike.

You pay about $1,000 for the finish and the exclusivity. That is a fair ask if you were already shopping for an SR/F.
Kawasaki Ninja 650 (2027)
The Ninja 650 gets what riders asked for: a Showa 37 mm inverted fork instead of a telescopic one and radial-mount brake calipers. Kawasaki UK also lists a new 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, with navigation and voice command through the Rideology app. The 649 cc parallel twin makes 68 PS, the seat is 785 mm high and the bike weighs 194 kg. Kawasaki UK lists it from £7,499, and we could not confirm a US price on Kawasaki's own pages.

Which one to look at
For distance, look at the Ducati. For a quiet, fast city bike with collector appeal, look at the Zero. For a first step up from a small bike, look at the Kawasaki. If you want something else from the sportier end of the market, we covered Suzuki's price cut on the 2027 GSX-S1000, and for four wheels see the Kimera EVO37 auction. More bikes live on our motorcycles page and in the Motors hub.
Another new cruiser to watch: the Benda Dark Flag 950, a V4 that debuts at EICMA.
Triumph also just unveiled the Bonneville T40 and T40 Black, a 30 hp classic with big-bike tech.
