The 1 oz (30 ml) Aventus eau de parfum is $210.95 at Perfumania, against $270 on Creed's own US boutique page. Perfumania also lists the 1.7 oz at $304.95 and the 3.3 oz at $409.95, compared with Creed's $380 for 50 ml and $510 for 100 ml, so the discount holds across sizes.

What it smells like

Perfumania lists a chypre-fruity profile: bergamot, black currant, apple, lemon and pink peppercorn up top, pineapple, patchouli and Moroccan jasmine in the heart, then birch, musk, oakmoss, ambroxan and cedarwood. It was launched in 2010 and Creed describes it as bold, confident and timeless.

Who it is for
