We pick every product independently. If you buy through our links, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. How we make money.

Fall is when a fragrance should get warmer and denser, and when the ounces start to matter. A 3.4 oz bottle and a 6.8 oz bottle at nearly the same price are not the same deal.

We took five men's fragrances sold at Perfumania and ranked them on what a buyer can check: size, price and price per ounce. Prices and stock were checked on October 6, 2026 and can change fast. We have not smelled them side by side; the scent notes come from the product listings.

How to choose

Look at the price per ounce. A 6.8 oz bottle at about $143 is a better deal than a 3.4 oz bottle at about $109 if you will use it up. If you want to try a scent first, the smaller bottles are the lower-risk way in.

Match the strength to the place. Parfum and intense eau de parfum are stronger. Two or three sprays are enough for work; save the heavy pours for evenings.

Spray it right. Spray on the chest and neck, not the wrists, and never rub them together.
