The Johnston & Murphy Jenson is the kind of shoe that solves the business-casual question, and J&M has it at $179.99, down from $278. That is 35% off, and about $20 less than Zappos, which had the same shoe at $199.50.
It is a plain-toe derby from the J&M Collection in gray Italian suede, with a full leather lining, a cushioned leather-covered footbed and a textured XL Extralight EVA sole that J&M describes as light but hard-wearing. It ships with matching and contrast laces.
Four colors, same price
The sale is not just on the gray. Johnston & Murphy lists all four colors at $179.99 with the same size run (8 to 13): two suedes and two smooth calfskins. The calfskin versions are the dressier pick for the office; the suedes are the easier weekend shoe.
The brown calfskin is the biggest drop: J&M lists it at $179.99, down from $298.
